What the job role entails:
- Monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and VAT returns using software provided within the company.
- You will primarily work with Xero and Dext, but knowledge of similar software such as Sage and QuickBooks or our software is necessary.
- practice/accounts management using Accountancy management.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, responding to their queries via email and phone when needed.
- You will be requesting receipts from clients and matching them up with the bank.
- Mentoring and assisting in the training of new/junior staff.
- Scanning and uploading receipts to Dext and letters to the accountancy manager.
- Maintaining HMRC VAT accounts.
What We Need:
- Demonstratable Proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks/Sage or similar.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and/or a similar role.
- Strong IT skills, especially in MS Office and Excel.
- Organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications aren't a necessity if your experience is relevant. Although they prefer to see some form of qualification on top of this if you wish to look at qualifications alongside the job role this would be supported.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 37.5 per week
