A new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join a well-established Building Services contractor delivering healthcare, education, commercial and industrial projects across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Estimator, Senior Electrical Estimator or M&E Estimator to work on Electrical Building Services and M&E projects valued up to £5M.
The Role
- Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for Electrical Building Services projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Produce electrical take-offs and cost plans.
- Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Raise RFIs and liaise with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Support pre-construction and project handover activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator, Senior Electrical Estimator or M&E Estimator.
- Experience pricing Electrical Building Services, healthcare, commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and building services.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
