As we continue to scale, we're looking for a dynamic Project Management Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a major role in shaping the next chapter of our business.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading and developing our project management function. You'll manage a team of four Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent client relationship skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. You'll work closely with Area Sales Managers, clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding project delivery and customer satisfaction.
You'll also play a key role in driving process improvements, enhancing our use of Zoho CRM and Project Management modules, and establishing clear KPIs, SLAs, and performance standards across the team.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Project Managers.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and SLAs across the project management function.
- Monitor team performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
Project Delivery
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
- Manage project risks, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle both with internal customers (are Sales Mangers) and external clients..
Commercial Management
- Drive strong commercial decision-making across projects.
- Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Ensure commercial considerations are balanced with exceptional client service.
- Support contract and scope management processes.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Own and improve project management processes and reporting.
- Maximise the use of Zoho CRM and Project Management modules.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and collaboration across teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers to ensure smooth project handovers and delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Act as a senior point of contact for project-related matters.
- Promote a client-first culture across the business.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects and leading project teams.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using CRM and project management systems, ideally Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMP, or equivalent.

We are based in Maidenhead, we work on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office.
