Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Electrician to join our dynamic team specialising in renewable energy installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing photovoltaic systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations. Responsibilities
- Install solar photovoltaic systems in accordance with design specifications and safety standards
- Conduct electrical wiring, connections, and testing of solar panels and associated components
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot electrical issues within PV systems and resolve faults efficiently
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on installed systems
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of installations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during site operations
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience, ideally within renewable energy or related sectors
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety procedures
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or wiring (e.g., NVQ Level 3) preferred
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor environments
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
