Customer Service Representative/ Warehouse Operative
At Skyline Logistics Ltd we’re all about exceeding our customer’s expectations. Our Customer Service Representatives deliver a superior service to each and every individual who calls our Depot in Redditch.
We’re looking for a supportive and enthusiastic person who is also an excellent communicator on a full time basis to join our customer service team. What we’re really interested in is a genuine passion for going above-and-beyond for our customers – everything else we can teach you! There will be times that the job will require you to work in the warehouse manoeuvring parcels and/or deliver a number of parcels.
The successful individual will respond to customer queries and complaints in a highly professional, appropriate and timely manner in order to exceed customer expectations, retain loyalty and avoid adverse publicity. The individual will also contribute to being part of the wider warehouse team and support others when the time arises.

Will listen to customers and ensuring all their needs are correctly interpreted and actioned accordingly.
Can provide excellent service, going above and beyond customer’s expectations on every single call.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Has the ability to stay calm under pressure and effectively deal with frustrated customers.
Is able to adapt quickly to use an in house computer system along with Word, Excel and Sage.
Has proven experience of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Has a pro-active ‘can-do’ approach.
Has the ability to solve problems and issues and provide accurate reports.
Is flexible, adaptable and ability to effectively deal with a high turnover of tasks.
Will bring a good sense of fun and humour to the role is essential too!
Is willing to deliver parcels should the need to arise.
Is willing and able to maneuver parcels in the warehouse if needed.
Day to day duties include:
Communicating with customers via email and telephone
Responding to customer queries in a timely manner
Liaising with team members
Using the in house computer system, Microsoft Word and Excel to complete tasks
Record keeping
Helping in the warehouse and/or delivering parcels.
Skills and experience (minimum requirement):
3 Years+ Customer Service experience
3 Years+ Full Driving License
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Computer literate (experience using all Microsoft programs)
Excellent telephone manner
Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm(or finish)
Saturday - on a rota 8am until 3pm with part of it working remotely from home.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Redditch B98 9HD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- customer service: 3 years (preferred)
- Delivery driver experience: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
