About: Trest Limited is a relatively new company started by Robert Davidson to be a one stop shop for supplying waste collection vehicles, compactors and containers into the industry. Our portfolio consists of food waste collection vehicles up to 26tons, refuse collection vehicles at 26 tons, Hook loaders from 7.5 to 32 tons, both static and mobile compactors and collection containers.
Trest offers a full repair and refurbishment service to all makes and models of refuse collection equipment whether it be from simple accident damage repairs to full refurbishment to extend the life of the vehicle/equipment. Trest also has a growing rental fleet of all types of waste collection vehicles offered for both short term and contract hire.
About the role: Your role would be working within our production facility and will be building new refuse collection equipment. Proficiency in the use of power tools and a basic understanding of fixings and fasteners is required. Must have own hand tools including spanner, sockets etc.
Location and Commitments:
· Location: Moss Side Industrial Estate, Leyland
· Hours: 39 hrs per week 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm on Friday
· Pay: Competitive
· OT available
· Uniform provided.
Candidate requirements:
· Class 2 licence desirable
· Some experience of working on HGVs is essential.
