Job Summary – Food & Beverage Assistant
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and guest-focused Food & Beverage Assistants to join our vibrant hospitality team at Aviemore Resort, set in the heart of the stunning Scottish Highlands. As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will deliver outstanding service across a diverse range of outlets, including:
- 3 on-site restaurants, offering varied dining experiences including our signature Aspects Restaurant, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant, and Food Court
- 2 large function spaces, hosting weddings, banquets, conferences and spectacular events for over 1,000 guests.
- 4 unique hotel bars, each with its own atmosphere and curated drinks offering — including our popular Aviemore Bar showing live Sky Sports
- 2 dedicated function bars, supporting high-profile events and large-scale celebrations
- A warm and welcoming coffee house serving quality drinks and light bites
- A modern conference centre, alongside outstanding resort facilities including a cinema, retail outlets, and a full-service leisure centre
In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be at the heart of the guest experience — serving food and drinks, supporting events, and helping create memorable moments for visitors from across the UK and beyond. You’ll be part of a supportive, energetic team where no two days are the same.
Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and reliable Food & Beverage Assistants who take pride in delivering excellent service. You will play a key role across restaurants, bars, and events, helping ensure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages to a consistently high standard
- Deliver friendly, attentive customer service by engaging with guests and exceeding expectations
- Support the team during busy services by serving, clearing, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are followed at all times
- Support the setup and breakdown of events and functions, including room layouts and bar preparation
- Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders
- Take part in ongoing training to build your knowledge of menus, service standards, and bar skills
Skills & Experience
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial, but not essential — full training provided
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Bartending knowledge or experience is an advantage
- A proactive, can-do approach and willingness to support colleagues

Pay: £12.21 per hour
