Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – £55,000 – Reading
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing building services provider covering the M4 Corridor. This role offers a strong salary package, excellent overtime opportunities, and a varied commercial portfolio across the South East.
Package
- Salary: £48,000 – £55,000
- Hours: 42.5 hours per week
- Vehicle: Company van + fuel card
- Personal Use: Permitted
- Travel: No travel time paid
- Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays (increasing yearly up to 25 days)
- Sick Pay: SSP
- On-Call: None currently (TBC in future)
- Standby: None
- Overtime:
- Time and a half
- Double time available

Role Overview
As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will carry out planned maintenance, servicing, reactive repairs, and breakdowns across a variety of commercial heating systems and associated plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial gas servicing and maintenance
- Reactive breakdowns and fault finding
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Working on commercial heating and gas systems
- Completing all service documentation and compliance paperwork
- Delivering high standards of customer service across multiple commercial sites
Requirements / Qualifications
- Commercial Gas qualifications/tickets
- Minimum 4 years’ experience within gas engineering
- Strong service and breakdown experience
- Oil and LPG experience advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
Additional Information
- Domestic Gas Engineers will also be considered (Need a strong career history)
- Salary for Domestic Gas Engineers would reflect experience level (circa £40,000)
