We are seeking an experienced and friendly Barista and Cafe All-rounder to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for preparing espresso-based beverages, including cappuccinos and lattes, as well as a variety of Desserts, Ice-Creams, Milkshakes, Smoothies, Loose Teas and Hot Chocolate. Our staff is dedicated to providing excellent customer service, so the ideal candidate will be a friendly self-starter who is capable of working independently and making quick decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Be aware of new food trends and food fusion concepts.
- Creative ideas for food preparation, presentation and service.
- Deliver consistent and top notch customer service.
- Know repeat and regular customer's usual order and preferences.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve as per organisation's policy.
- Provide accurate food safety and allergens information.
- Follow safe food safety procedures and fully comply with the food business rules and regulations.
- Provide administrative and back of the house support towards facility cleaning, hygiene, safety and operational protocols.
- Follow the organisation's procedures, policies and protocols.
- Provide supervision and training to new staff.
- Create and uphold positive work environment and cordial team culture.
