Based at Cresswell, Stoke-on-Trent, ST11 9RD , we are a dynamic and innovative global market leader in the manufacture and retail of garden and leisure buildings. The Role
We have a vacancy in our SHEDFAST department processing and assembling parts for our timber sheds and summer houses.
Contract - three month temporary, with intention to be permanent
Working Monday to Friday, typically 0700-1600 or 0800-1700, tasks will include:
- assembling panels for wooden buildings
- operating an automated saw
- storing, picking, quality checking and packing of parts and products
- using IT and scanners to manage Works Orders and stock control
- working in other departments as and when required
- helping fulfil customer dreams!
We’ll welcome an application if you:
- take pride in doing a good job – quality is paramount
- possess good manual dexterity to competently use hand tools, screws, nuts and bolts
- are physically fit – the role is physically demanding. You will be on your feet all day and need to be able to lift heavy and awkward shed panels and parts, approximately 8-25kg.
- can use a hand scanner and computer
- have good timekeeping and attendance
- work well in a friendly, supportive and busy team
- are self-motivated and do not wait for instruction
- can get to us, as we are not on a public transport route!
