I Scream for Pizza Sunderland are on the lookout for a PART-TIME Pizza Chef.
The role will suit someone with previous pizza experience looking for around 20hrs a week. Weekend availability is must.
I Scream for Pizza make artisanal sourdough New York pizza alongside a range of sides, subs and house made soft serve sundaes. We offer a ‘grab and go’ style menu of large NY slices, alongside running a restaurant service of 50+ covers. The kitchen is fast paced and event driven being located right by the Stadium of Light. We are looking for a pizza chef to join our team who strives to produce the best quality food without compromise.
Required skill
- Experienced pizza chef with a varied and in-depth knowledge of dough production and pizza making.
- Passion for all things pizza.
- A team player but can also work autonomously when required in a high paced environment.
- We prep everything ourselves sauces, toppings, soft serve etc. We are looking for someone confident in their ability to prep fresh food and follow our recipes on shifts where our prep chef is absent.
- The ability to work to set brand standard food specs.
- Ability to work evenings and weekend is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Experience working in a fast paced pizza kitchen.
Desired skills
- We have a grill and fryer section in our kitchen. We will require the chef to work these stations when required.
