We are seeking a motivated and dedicated breakfast co ok to join us.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen eye for safety, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Assist in meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support the kitchen team with food safety procedures and hygiene practices
- Prepare ingredients, such as chopping vegetables or portioning meats, following specified recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Serve meals to customers or staff in accordance with service protocols
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Support catering events by organising ingredients and assisting with setup and breakdown
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures is advantageous
- Experience in food presentation and serving enhances your suitability for this role
- A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills are highly valued
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
