The Opportunity
We are looking for an energetic, reliable General Labourer to take hands on ownership of our daily warehouse and production tasks.
If you love physical, active work, have great attention to detail, and are excited to grow with a company in a booming industry, this is the perfect role for you. You will be our go to person on the warehouse floor, working directly with our production and fulfilment teams to ensure we keep up with high demand. As you grow into the role, you'll learn the ins and outs of our specialised production process. You’ll be a driving force behind our daily operations, helping us scale efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately picking items for customer orders and packing them securely and efficiently for daily dispatch.
- Production Assistance: Helping the team run, monitor, and clean the warehouse machinery used for creating our mushroom grow kits.
- Goods In & Out: Handling daily deliveries, safely moving pallets, unloading supplies, and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- General Labour: Pitching in with various manual tasks across the warehouse, from preparing bags of substrate to assisting the cultivation team.
Who We're Looking For
- Hands-On & Scrappy: You are a hard worker who is highly dependable and comfortable with a role that involves manual handling, standing for extended periods, and regular heavy lifting.
- Detail-Oriented: You understand that accuracy in picking and packing orders is the key to customer satisfaction.
- A Team Player: You’re a self-starter who is happy to jump in wherever needed to support the rest of the full-time staff.
- A Solid Track Record: Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or agricultural environment is a huge bonus, but full training will be provided for the right attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
