As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our sports programme and inspiring individuals to achieve their personal best.
Duties
- Educate athletes on the fundamentals of their respective sports, including techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Develop and implement training sessions that cater to various skill levels and promote physical fitness.
- Monitor and evaluate athlete performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Organise and lead practices, drills, and competitive events while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding progress and development.
- Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in sports education.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, strategies, and training methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff members.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in sports coaching.
- Relevant certifications in coaching or first aid are advantageous but not essential.
Preferable -
- Level 2 or Experience in Cricket
- Experience teaching physical activity.
