Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, utilising IT systems effectively for data entry and retrieval.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Manage appointment schedules, coordinating with patients to optimise clinic operations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and assist in patient education.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
- Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient records and appointments is advantageous.
