About the role
We are seeking a multi-tasking Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Colchester. You will need to be dedicated, reliable, and hardworking with previous experience supervising a housekeeping team within a hotel environment. The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting is key to the role. You’ll be supporting housekeeping management and conducting room checks, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Supervise and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain consistently high standards
- Carry out and oversee room checks, public area inspections, and quality control
- Step into a hands-on role when needed, assisting with room cleaning and turnaround
- Help organise daily task allocation, rotas, and workload distribution
- Ensure health & safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are always met
- Lead by example, creating a positive and supportive team environment
