We are seeking a dedicated and organised GP Patient Services Lead to join our healthcare team. This role is a job share. Duties
- Lead and coordinate the daily operations of the patient services team, including reception and administrative staff
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and check-in procedures with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
- Assist in resolving patient queries and concerns promptly, providing a high standard of customer service
- Support the implementation of practice policies and procedures to optimise workflow
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth communication between patients and clinical staff
- Supervise the training and development of office staff to uphold service standards
- Monitor and improve patient experience through feedback collection and service enhancements
Requirements
- Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare or similar environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a compassionate approach towards patients
