We are seeking qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS standards.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children at all times.
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical growth through personalised care and attention.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, behaviour, and daily activities.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Organise and participate in nursery routines, including meal times, naps, outdoor play, and special events.
- Contribute ideas and best practices to enhance nursery programmes and overall experiences.
- Uphold nursery policies related to health & safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrate initiative and leadership when needed, supporting both the team and the smooth running of the nursery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification; support available for those wishing to achieve Level 3.
- Proven experience in nursery or early childhood education settings.
- Leadership or management experience within childcare is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also showing initiative.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude, with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Flexibility to support the nursery’s operations and schedules.
- Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Driving licence advantageous for roles involving travel or community engagement.
