About Us
At Willow Care North Shropshire, we believe great care starts with great people.
For over seven years, we’ve supported older and vulnerable adults to live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes across the local community.
We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built for compassionate, reliable care, and we know that reputation comes from our team.
We don’t see our carers as numbers on a rota. We see them as the heart of the service.
If you’re looking for meaningful work where your time genuinely matters, you’ll feel at home here.
The Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll support people in their own homes in Hadnall and surrounding areas.
No two days are the same, but your purpose is simple. Helping people stay safe, independent, and comfortable in the place they know best.
You’ll build genuine relationships with the people you support and become someone they look forward to seeing.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care, including washing and dressing
- Supporting with meals, medication, and mobility
- Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
- Helping clients maintain independence and routines
- Keeping clear and accurate care records after visits
- Promoting dignity, respect, and choice at all times
Some days can be challenging, but they’re also incredibly rewarding. You’ll never be expected to manage difficult situations without support.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in care is helpful, but it isn’t essential. Kindness, reliability, and the right attitude matter more to us.
We provide full paid training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- Naturally caring and respectful
- Calm and reassuring under pressure
- Reliable and organised
- A good communicator
- Looking for work that genuinely makes a difference
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
