We’re a small, family run bakery that wants to create a warm and welcoming space for our community. From freshly baked pastries to expertly crafted coffees, everything we do is driven by care, quality, and attention to detail.
We are looking for a Part-Time Baker 2 days a week, with preferably at least one year’s commercial experience to join our team. The working days will be Monday and Thursday with an early start from 4am, although we can be flexible for the right candidate. We encourage applicants who will grow and evolve with us and be an active part of our team. This position will be excellent for aspiring bakers who want to advance in their career.
Create a wide range of delicious baked goods from croissants to cookies.
Work confidently with dough: laminating, shaping, proofing, and baking.
Experiment and help develop new recipes and menu items.
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery, adhering to food safety regulations.
At least one year of professional baking experience preferred, but not essential.
A genuine passion for baking and attention to detail.
Confidence with dough preparation and baking techniques.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow with us.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
