Job Overview
We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Trunking Driver to join our client in Trafford Park & Warrington. This is very easy Trunking work with flexible shifts available across any 7 days a week. Positions are available immediately with flexible on start times available. Both AM and PM shifts available.
Duties
- Operate HGV Class 1 lorries for trunking deliveries between depots and distribution centres.
- Ensure all loads are secured correctly and comply with safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and tachograph records.
- Follow planned routes efficiently whilst adhering to legal driving hours and regulations.
- Report any vehicle faults or incidents promptly to the relevant department.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Skills
- Proven Class One Experience of 12 months.
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to handle flatbed loads safely and securely during transit.
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules and documentation effectively.
