Production Manager
Food Manufacturing
Monday - Friday (Days)
Role:

Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to deliver daily production targets safely and efficiently.

Translate production plans into achievable shift and line schedules, ensuring resources are optimised.

Monitor performance against KPIs including yield, efficiency, waste, downtime, and labour utilisation.

Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with food safety, legality, and quality requirements as defined by BRCGS and customer standards.

Work closely with the Technical and Quality teams to maintain hygiene, allergen control, traceability, and GMP standards.

Support investigations into non-conformances, complaints, or quality issues, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Lead daily production meetings, providing updates on performance, issues, and improvement actions.

Recruit, train, and develop production supervisors and operatives.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Production Manager in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Strong understanding of food safety, quality, and BRCGS standards.
