We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and coordination during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the team in maintaining a positive work environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in bartending or within the restaurant/hospitality sector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Excellent time management abilities to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
- A commitment to food safety practices and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- A friendly, approachable demeanour that enhances the customer experience.
