Behaviour Mentors Needed – Secondary Schools | Eastleigh | ASAP start
Are you a resilient and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are currently recruiting Behaviour Mentors to work in secondary schools across Eastleigh.
About the Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural needs
- Help manage and improve student behaviour in line with school policies
- Build positive relationships to support students’ emotional and social development
- Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
- Support students both in and out of the classroom
- Opportunities for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with behavioural or additional needs
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
