A welcoming primary school inCamden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticEarly Years Teaching Assistant to join their team fromSeptember 2026. This full-time role will be based within the school's2-Year-Old Provision/Nursery, supporting young children during this crucial stage of their development.
The successful candidate will ideally hold aLevel 2 Early Years qualification and have previous experience working withnursery-aged children. The school is looking for someone who isnurturing, proactive, and passionate about supporting children's learning through play and structured activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children within the2-Year-Old Provision and Nursery setting.
- Assisting with the delivery ofengaging learning activities.
- Encouraging children'scommunication, social, and emotional development.
- Supporting theclass teacher and wider Early Years team.
- Creating apositive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- ALevel 2 Early Years qualification (preferred).
- Experience working with children in anEarly Years setting.
- A good understanding ofchild development and the EYFS framework.
- Acaring and patient approach.
- Strongcommunication and teamwork skills.
