Angel Business Communications is a well-established B2B media and events company delivering industry-focused conferences, roadshows, roundtables, webinars and digital content across multiple technology sectors.
We are now looking for a proactive and confident Event Content and Delegate Relationship Executive to join our team full-time at our Coventry office.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will play a key part in shaping the content, speakers and delegate engagement across our events portfolio.
You will work closely with editorial, sales and marketing teams to ensure our events are filled with high-quality speakers and senior-level delegates, while also supporting the smooth delivery of each event.
A large part of the role involves research, outreach and relationship building – identifying the right people, inviting them to participate, and ensuring they remain engaged throughout the event lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Content & Speaker Management
- Research industry trends to support the development of event agendas
- Identify, approach and secure high-quality speakers across our event portfolio
- Manage speaker onboarding, including collecting bios, headshots, abstracts and presentations
- Maintain and update speaker information within internal systems and CMS
- Liaise with speakers on session content, timings and event logistics
Delegate Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and invite senior-level delegates (C-level, Directors, IT leaders) to attend events
- Build and manage targeted delegate lists using tools such as CRM platforms and data sources
- Send personalised email and LinkedIn outreach, and conduct follow-up calls
- Manage delegate communications, including invitations, confirmations and retention emails
- Build ongoing relationships with delegates to support repeat attendance
Campaign & Event Coordination
- Support the delivery of event campaigns alongside marketing and sales teams
- Assist with email campaigns, mail merges and audience targeting
- Help create content for marketing use, including speaker bios, session descriptions and emails
- Track campaign activity and maintain accurate records
Sponsor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Support sponsor onboarding, ensuring all required materials are collected
- Liaise with sponsors regarding their participation, content and deliverables
- Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders
Event Logistics & Delivery
- Support planning and coordination of event logistics, including venues and schedules
- Assist with private roundtables, online events and roadshows
- Coordinate event materials, presentations and on-the-day content
- Attend events (UK and occasional international travel) to support delivery and gather insights
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with senior professionals via phone, email and in person
- Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in events, marketing, administration or a similar role
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools or data platforms
- Experience with LinkedIn outreach or professional communication
- Basic content creation skills
No specific industry experience is required – full training and support will be provided.
