Summary
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our warehouse and delivery operation.
This is a hands-on, organised role where you will be responsible for accurately booking in deliveries, preparing materials for installation and ensuring vans are loaded correctly and on time.
You will help ensure that every project has the right products, in the right place ready for delivery.
Responsibilities
Goods In and Stock Control
- Accurately book in all deliveries using the internal system
- Check all goods received against purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Store stock correctly and maintain a clean, organised warehouse
- Compelte a monthly stock take, ensuring stock accuracy and reporting variances
Project Preparation and Organisation
- Organise materials into designated bays for each customer/project
- Ensure all items for each job present and ready for dispatch
- Maintain a clear and logical warehouse layout to support efficiency
Dispatch and Van Loading
- Prepare and dispatch goods in line with the daily delivery schedule
- Load vans accurately and safely
- Check all deliveries items are present and complete before departure
Stock Monitoring
- Monitor stock levels of key items
- Highlight when stock is running low and support timely reorder
- Support the smooth flow of materials across all projects
