Man and Van Operative - London
Moviist Ltd is a London-based man & van moving service looking for a reliable, physically fit, and customer-focused operative to join our team. You’ll be the face of the business on every job — so professionalism and a good attitude matter as much as the heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vans safely to transport customer belongings across London and surrounding areas
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, boxes, and fragile items with care
- Work solo or as part of a 2-man team depending on the job
- Protect customer belongings throughout every move
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
- Communicate professionally with customers and teammates at all times
- Follow all health & safety, manual handling, and road traffic procedures
Requirements
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Van driving experience (essential)
- Fluent English speaker
- Permanent right to work in the UK — no sponsorship available
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting daily
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Previous removals or logistics experience preferred but not essential
- No unspent criminal convictions
