- Own a group of young people across your area. Know each one, their risks, their goals and their plan.
- Visit every young person face to face at least weekly. Track their independence goals and check they are safe and well.
- Lead every incident and missing episode. Act, notify the social worker, and see it through.
- Take your turn on the management on-call rota, leading out-of-hours incidents for the service.
- Supervise and brief the frontline staff and agency workers on your patch. Set the standard and hold it.
- Keep risk assessments, support plans and safety plans current, especially after any incident.
- Maintain a same-day communication trail with social workers and other professionals.
- Check the rota for your area daily: no gaps, no overlaps, every shift named.
- Read every daily log, chase anything missing, and send a clear end-of-day update.
- Track health, LAC reviews, PEP, immigration and court appointments, and make sure young people get there.
- Keep records up to date in our system so we can evidence the work to any Local Authority.
Who we're looking for
This role suits someone who has carried real responsibility in supported accommodation or children's services and stayed calm doing it.
- Solid experience managing supported accommodation, children's residential, or a closely related service.

- Able to hold several young people, several staff and several open actions at once without dropping any of them.
- Calm under pressure. The hard days are when this role earns its keep.
- Organised, with the follow-through to finish what you start and evidence it.

What we offer
- £33,000 per annum.
- A clear remit and the authority to run your area properly.
- A management team that backs you, and a platform that takes the admin weight off the job.
- Real progression. We are growing across Wales, and we promote the people who hold the standard.
