Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive technology and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a professional environment. We are family company that as been in the business for over 40 years and pride ourselves in looking after our staff and developing them .Hours would be 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday . NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAYS
Duties
- Perform services , repairs and maintenance on vehicles .
- replace t/belts , fit clutches.
- Diagnose vehicle faults accurately .
- fit tyres and exhausts .
- Replace parts and ensure vehicles are road worthy .
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service .
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- mot licence would be considered and salary would be reflected .
