Specialist Project Logistics (SPL) is a bespoke delivery and installation company specialising in two‑person (and above) deliveries of large, high‑value equipment to commercial sites across the UK. We work predominantly within the commercial catering equipment sector, although our services extend beyond this industry.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a 7.5T Delivery Technician / Driver to join our Doncaster‑based team.
The Role
- Driving 7.5T and 3.5T vehicles fitted with tail lifts
- Nationwide deliveries to commercial premises
- Participation in two‑person deliveries, including positioning of equipment on site
- Physical handling of equipment (manual handling involved)
- Assisting in the warehouse when required
- Occasional overnight stays, fully expensed (overtime and food provided)
Working Hours
This is not a standard 9–5 role. The successful candidate must be flexible:
- Early starts and/or late finishes will be required
- Overnight stays when necessary
- Flexibility offered where possible after long working days, subject to workload
Requirements
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ 7.5T (C1) entitlement – essential
✅ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
✅ Flexible and reliable approach to work
✅ Forklift licence desirable but not essential
