Secondary Supply Teacher – Southampton

We are currently recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers to work across a network of schools in Southampton. With demand continuing to grow, we have a range of opportunities available, from day-to-day cover to long-term assignments.
Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a better work-life balance, an ECT seeking to build classroom experience, or a teacher between permanent positions, supply teaching offers the chance to continue doing what you enjoy while maintaining flexibility over your schedule.
Working hours are typically 8:30am–3:30pm, with daily rates between £120 and £150 depending on experience and the nature of the role.
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure pupils remain engaged throughout the school day. Schools provide lesson resources and support, allowing you to focus on effective teaching and classroom management.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
