Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Client Acquisition Executive to join their successful sales team based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a passion for winning new business.
This role is focused on outbound sales activity, making it ideally suited to someone with proven cold-calling experience who is confident engaging with prospective customers and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.
The Role
As Client Acquisition Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying and generating new business opportunities;
- Making outbound sales calls to prospective B2B customers;
- Building strong relationships with new clients and understanding their business requirements;
- Presenting suitable products and services to prospective customers;
- Managing the full sales process from initial contact through to conversion;
- Negotiating effectively and closing new business opportunities;
- Maintaining accurate records of activity using internal systems;
- Working towards and consistently achieving sales targets.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven outbound sales/cold calling experience (essential);
- Previous experience within fuel cards, fleet services, or a similar B2B sales environment (advantageous);
- A confident telephone manner with strong communication and negotiation skills;
- A highly motivated, target-driven approach;
- The ability to build rapport quickly and develop strong customer relationships;
- Excellent organisation skills with a proactive approach to sales;
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A desire to succeed and progress within a growing business.
