We are seeking a dedicated candidate for our trainee dog groomer position to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and a keen worker. Responsibilities
- Bathing, drying, and preparing dogs for stylists
- Learning how to style dogs start to finish
- Handling dogs safely and gently to ensure a stress-free experience
- Assisting with cat and small animal grooming
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of grooming tools and work areas
- Supporting customer service by greeting clients and taking payments and re-booking appointments
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Passion for working with animals and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to handle dogs safely and compassionately, respecting their individual needs.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised with a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to learn new skills within the grooming environment
