About the Opportunity…
Due to an increased demand on our Operations Department, a rare opportunity for a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor ready to join us at this exciting time of rapid growth, has arisen.
Working from our premises in Snetterton, this is a unique opportunity for individuals who are determined to succeed and willing to be a part of culture of continuous improvement and growth. The main scope of the role is to increase the warehouse efficiency by improving goods in and out processes, stock control as well as effective team management to deliver on business expectations.
Who are we looking for…
You will be a highly motivated and resilient person passionate about operations with recent experience to back it up (data reflecting any improvements would be advantageous to see). The ideal candidate might also have an experience with Netsuite (but full training would be given). You will be highly organised, self-driven and be able to work independently as well as within a high performing team. You will also have an aptitude for new ideas, problem-solving is also high on the agenda and a track record of achieving agreed projects. You will be hands on pro-active leader, not afraid of challenges, which will take his team on the journey with him.
Although our Wishlist looks very demanding, we really are after a person who might not necessarily tick all the boxes but has a desire to bring improvements and help to make the company better for our customers. Someone who wants to be a part of rapidly growing business and make the warehouse area their own. Someone who wants to help us exceed customers’ expectations and put Arbortec out there with the other big brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise daily warehouse workloads according to business expectations
- Manage all incoming and outgoing goods, ensure all the stock on shelfs is replenished in a timely and efficient manner
- Team Management of 3 people, including performance reviews, training and coaching
- Support team hands-on when required
- Keep the premises immaculate, ensure the warehouse is “visit ready”
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, audit the premises on a regular basis
- Provide daily reporting on warehouse performance, provide explanations for any discrepancies
- Establish good working relationship with other departments
- Evaluate our current goods in/out processes and propose improvements
- Maximise efficiency of existing warehousing capacity, organise and coordinate additional storage as and when required
- Improve speed and flow efficiencies in accordance with the best standards
