Print Artworker & Customer Service Assistant
Signs & Stickers Ltd are a busy signage and print company based in Poole, Dorset. We are a small friendly team producing a wide range of printed and custom products including pavement signs, banners, site boards, stickers, vehicle graphics, and printed displays for customers across the UK.
We are looking for a reliable and organised Print Artworker & Customer Service Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role combining artwork setup, customer service, proofing, and general office support within a fast-paced print production environment.
This is not a high-end creative graphic design role. The position mainly involves preparing customer artwork, setting up print-ready files, sending proofs to customers, handling basic amendments, and assisting with customer enquiries via phone and email.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing customer artwork and proofs
- Setting up print-ready PDF files
- Making basic artwork amendments and edits
- Sending artwork proofs to customers for approval
- Checking artwork resolution, sizing, bleed, and layout suitability
- Assisting customers via phone and email
- Helping with order processing and general office admin
- Supporting the production team with artwork-related tasks
- Managing multiple customer jobs within a busy environment
Requirements:
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software
- Good understanding of CMYK print setup
- Knowledge of raster vs vector artwork
- Understanding of print-ready artwork preparation
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Organised and able to multitask
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous print, signage, or artwork experience preferred but not essential
Full training on our products, systems, and workflow will be provided.
The role can be fast-paced during busy periods, so good organisation skills are important.
Working hours can be flexible between 9:00am and 5:00pm, provided contracted daily hours are completed.
Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
There is strong potential for this role to develop into a long-term permanent position for the right candidate.
