About Us
Simple Claims Limited is a well-established accident management company specialising in providing credit hire vehicles, primarily to London PCO drivers. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Claims Invoicing Department and are looking for an experienced Credit Hire Motor Claims Handler to join our team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional with strong knowledge of credit hire, the ABI GTA, and motor claims negotiation. While the primary focus of the role will be recovering outstanding payment packs and negotiating invoice settlements, you will also be expected to manage both roadworthy and unroadworthy claims when required.
You will take ownership of your own caseload from start to finish, ensuring claims are progressed efficiently and settled in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own portfolio of live claims and invoiced cases from cradle to grave.
- Review claim histories and investigate liability by liaising with internal departments and external parties.
- Chase outstanding payment packs and negotiate settlements with insurers.
- Ensure all claim activity is accurately documented and internal systems are maintained with up-to-date information.
- Liaise with insurers, solicitors, and other relevant parties to progress claims efficiently and achieve the best possible outcome.
- Work within delegated authority while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer service.
- Continue to develop technical knowledge of credit hire, relevant case law, and industry best practice.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience handling motor claims, with a strong focus on credit hire invoice recovery and settlement negotiations.
- A good working knowledge of the ABI General Terms of Agreement (GTA).
- Strong understanding of credit hire case law and liability principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in building relationships with insurer contacts to maximise recoveries and resolve claims efficiently.
