Hours: 37.5 per week, worked on a 2 week rota – flexibility required
Salary: £30,562.43 per annum (£15.67 per hour) paid overtime available

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the pastry offering to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
- Preparing and presenting a wide range of desserts, baked goods, and sweet treats
- Collaborating with chefs to create seasonal and event menus
- Supporting daily service requirements and catering for special functions
- Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and allergen awareness
- Keeping the pastry kitchen clean, efficient, and well-stocked
What we’re looking for:
- Relevant pastry/baking qualification (City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, or NVQ Level 1 & 2)
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of HACCP, COSHH, and allergen regulations
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive team player
- Someone who thrives in a structured yet creative kitchen environment
