We are looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience within the lift and escalator industry is highly desirable, although candidates with strong administrative experience from similar engineering or service sectors will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day office administration and ensuring the smooth running of office operations.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries professionally.
- Scheduling engineers and coordinating service, maintenance, and repair visits.
- Preparing quotations, reports, and general correspondence.
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and updating company databases.
- Liaising with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Supporting the management team with general administrative duties.
- Ensuring compliance documentation is maintained and up to date.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an Office Administrator or Administrative Assistant role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working within the lift, escalator, or vertical transportation industry.
- Familiarity with scheduling engineers and managing service contracts.
- Experience using job management or service management software.
- Knowledge of industry compliance and documentation requirements.
