The Role
As a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will play an integral role in supporting clinicians and ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care throughout their treatment journey. You will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while maintaining excellent clinical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and other clinicians during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control procedures
- Decontaminate and sterilise instruments in accordance with current regulations
- Provide a welcoming and reassuring experience for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with taking and processing radiographs where appropriately qualified
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering clinical supplies
- Support the practice team in delivering outstanding patient care
- Adhere to all GDC standards, practice policies, and health and safety requirements

Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised dental nursing qualification
- Current GDC registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Desirable
- Experience working in a general dental practice
- Radiography qualification
- Familiarity with digital dental software and clinical systems
- Experience supporting private and NHS dentistry
