Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant & Banqueting Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Calcot Hotel in Reading. In this role, you will oversee restaurant and banqueting operations, ensuring outstanding service and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our standards of excellence and supporting our team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant and banqueting operations to ensure smooth service.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and timely service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and event setups.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills.
- Monitor customer feedback and address any issues promptly.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Previous experience in restaurant or banqueting operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality or hotel management qualification is desirable.
