HGV Class 1 Drivers – Parcel Distribution
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers in the Coventry area to support the largest parcel and mail distribution company in the UK. Shifts and hours to suit all availability
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £20.82 – £23.85 per hour
Shifts Available: Days, Afternoons, Nights and Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Transport parcels between distribution hubs and delivery centres.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, securely and on time.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Maintain accurate driver and vehicle records.
- Communicate effectively with transport, dispatch and warehouse teams.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Previous parcel distribution or trunking experience is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable and positive approach to work.
