Overview
Eminent Accountants & Global Compliance Ltd is a specialist consultancy firm providing compliance advice and support services to firms who are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) in the UK.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical, organisational, and client management skills who wishes to develop their career within a professional financial compliance and consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and maintain financial records, reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures;
- Assist with preparation of financial statements, cash flow reports, budgeting, and financial forecasting activities;
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial information;
- Support the delivery of financial compliance and regulatory advisory services to clients, including maintaining accurate records and assisting with reporting obligations;
- Liaise with clients and internal teams regarding financial information, reporting requirements, and compliance matters;
- Assist with corporation tax documentation and other statutory financial reporting duties;
- Conduct financial analysis and identify potential discrepancies, compliance risks, or operational inefficiencies;
- Maintain financial controls, procedures, and reporting systems to support business operations and regulatory compliance;
- Coordinate with management and team members to ensure timely completion of client assignments and financial reporting deadlines;
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client financial transactions and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a professional environment;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ability to work with financial systems and databases;
- Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, compliance procedures, or accounting processes would be advantageous;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Willingness to undertake professional training and development relevant to the role.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
