The School and Role
A supportive school in Cramlington is seeking a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their SEN base, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 6 with a high level of additional needs. The role requires a patient and nurturing approach, helping children access learning, regulate emotions, and develop communication and social skills. The successful candidate will be confident building positive relationships with pupils and contributing to a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
