An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Seasonal Ground’s Maintenance Operative to join our Watford Depot. The season runs until October 2026.

Driving Licence is Essential
Pay will depend on experience and relevant industry qualification up to £12.75 per hour.
Person Specification:
- Experience in Grounds Maintenance (preferable)
- PA1 or PA6 Pesticide Certification (preferable)
- The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team.
- Reliable, energetic and enthusiastic with a determined, flexible and "can-do" attitude.
- Good eye for detail. (preferable)
- Level 2 Horticultural qualification (Desirable but not essential)
Main Task Activities :
- Grass cutting (ride on and pedestrian) including strimming
- Shrub and Border Maintenance including pruning & weeding
- Hedge cutting
- Leaf and Litter picking
- Sweeping/cleansing
- Herbicide application
- Line marking
- Fine turf maintenance
- A full range of horticultural work as required by the contracted works.
- Ensure all tasks completed are to specification required and finished to a high standard.
