Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation and cooking within a vibrant, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A passion for food and a commitment to food safety standards are essential for this position. Experience with Italian food especially pizza is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, following established recipes and safety protocols
- Support the team in meal assembly and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management to prevent wastage
- Contribute positively to a team environment by assisting colleagues as needed
- Serve meals efficiently during busy periods, ensuring excellent customer service standards are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
