Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Childrens Nursery, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the setting. The successful candidate will ensure our environment remains safe, welcoming, and professional. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on attention to detail and reliability.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces in commercial settings.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and are in good working order.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised with good time management skills.
