Pickersgill Groundworks and Landscapes Ltd is a small but fast-growing groundworks and landscaping business based in Ripon, serving the surrounding areas. We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Landscaping Professional to join our expanding team.
This is an immediate start vacancy, subject to a successful pre-start interview.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, work confidently as part of a team, and demonstrate enthusiasm in every project.
You will need to be:
- Self-motivated
- Adaptable and proactive
- Friendly and professional
- Confident working to high standards
A full clean driving licence is essential, along with a braked trailer licence.
Pay and Benefits
- Competitive rates of pay, based on experience and training
- CIS payment basis (PAYE considered)
- Van and fuel card may be provided for the right candidate, depending on experience
- Quality PPE provided
Your Responsibilities
As part of our landscaping team, you will be involved in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping, including:
- Large garden design and installation projects
- Bespoke garden builds
- Working to detailed plans
- Collaborating with Landscape Architects
- Block paving, natural stone, paving, and porcelain work
- Fencing installation
- Turfing
- Decking
- Walling
- Operating small machinery such as diggers and dumpers
- Liaising with clients throughout the duration of projects
