Smart Teachers is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a high-achieving and oversubscribed secondary school for an ambitious and talented Teacher of Design & Technology to join their successful department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about Design & Technology and committed to inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers, innovators and problem-solvers. The successful candidate will teach across KS4 and KS5, with a preference for a Textiles specialism, while also demonstrating flexibility to contribute to a broader Design & Technology curriculum at KS3 and KS4, which may include some Food Technology lessons.
This role offers the chance to do far more than teach technical skills. You will encourage students to think creatively, solve real-world problems and develop the confidence needed to make a positive impact in an ever-changing world.
- Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching Design & Technology at KS4 and KS5.

Have a specialism in Textiles (preferred).

Be flexible in delivering a range of Design & Technology subjects across KS3 and KS4.
