Join our vibrant charity shop team as a Part-Time Assistant Charity Shop Manager (working two days weekly, with opportunity for additional shifts when manager is on annual leave or requires additional cover). You'll find us in the The Mall Shopping Centre - Vintage Emporiums (in aid of Refugease, now called The Aid Shop).

In this dynamic role, you will lead daily operations, gain charity shop experience, learn directly from a seasoned charity shop manager, motivate volunteers, and ensure an exciting experience for all customers entering our shops.

Duties
Sorting through donations
Onboarding new volunteers
Stock rotation: pricing, and sales
Merchandising
Keeping the shop looking presentable and fun
Adhering to Health, Safety & Fire policies and procedures
Processing payments and refunds
Valuing goods using online tools such as ebay, vinted, google lens
Experience & Qualities
- Retail experience necessary
- Charity shop experience much preferred
- Can-do, collaborative, positive, problem-solving attitude
- Honest & reliable
- Target focused
- Care about our mission - heart knowledge of who the bottom line of this shop serves.
